Co-owners, Josey and Micole Jewell, have always wanted to own a restaurant, in particular a smoothie bar. Opportunities aligned, and now Root 43 has joined the Decorah community. Priding themselves on healthy options and an all-inclusive environment- come check them out!
Did you know...
The name Root 43 Juicery has two meanings- Josey's college football number was #43, and Decorah is located at the intersection of Hwy 52 & Hwy 9;
52-9=43. Roots comes from our roots being back in Iowa and the roots of plants!
We do not use ice or water "fillers" in our smoothies or acai bowls. We've replaced them with more product and believe this creates the best taste in your cup!
"Juicing" can remove toxins from the body, help with digestion, help lose weight, and boost your immune system.
Acai berries are grown in South America. They have a short shelf life, so are not available fresh anywhere but where they are grown. They are full of antioxidants and extremely low in sugar compared to other fruits.
